Trivia

  • Only 11,300 Amiga 4000 have ever been sold in Germany.
  • This Amiga came with: Cybervision 64 (2 MB), A2091, Scandoubler, CD writer, two SCSI harddisks, two CPU boards (one with additional 68882).
  • Came with an Amiga 2000 keyboard with full-size PCB (instead of a membrane)
  • Recapped by the previous owner, but cheap quality of capacitors.
  • Battery damage repair attempted by the previous owner. Was aborted when things got too messy.

Restauration Works

  • Front bleached (needs some more bleaching in June)
  • Re-recapped the board with quality capacitors
  • Removed all traces of the repair attempt. Cleaned the RTC area.
  • Replaced components in the floppy and audio area
  • Cleaned the keyboard

Known Issues

  • Front of floppy drive is loose (can be fixed with 3D printed part)
  • PSU needs maintenance or replacement
