Trivia

  • This machine was “Assembled in Portugal”.
  • Was sold as “untested”, but turned out to be completely dead. A membrane connector was broken off, and the previous owner tried to forcefully remove the keyboard faceplate.

Restauration Works

  • Restauration was carried out in March 2022.
  • All voltages were missing. Replaced 7805 by a Traco Power TSR1-2450. System worked again after that.
  • Recapping, Composite Mod.
  • Case cleaned, making sure that the “Assembled in Portugal” label was kept intact.
  • Membrane connector was broken off and missing, so the membrane was replaced.
  • Faceplate was heavily bent, and was replaced with a new “metallic red” one.

    • Replaced rubber feet (some were missing)

    • Cleaned the case
    • New keyboard membrane, as the connectors of the old one were broken off.
